How we help

Guiding people toward stability

We walk with clients and families through every step of the mental health system, from the first phone call to lasting recovery.

Our approach

Advocacy and education, grounded in lived experience

The difficulties we have faced ourselves, and our determination to help others, drive everything we do. Advocacy and education are the principles we lean on to show that stabilization is possible for every client and their family.

Guidance

Through the whole journey

We guide clients along the path to stabilization and stay with them through the entire course of recovery, connecting them with the right public and private mental health services.

Choice

Informed decisions

Drawing on our lived experience, we help clients and families understand their options and make confident, informed choices about their care.

Progress

Measured and improved

We track progress across ten stability indicators, turn it into clear data, and adjust our support to keep each client moving forward.

Ten stability indicators

The full picture of a stable life

Recovery is more than treatment alone. We assess and support ten areas that together make lasting stability possible.

01

Housing

Safe, stable housing is the foundation for everything else.

02

Therapy

Access to counseling and consistent therapeutic support.

03

Psychiatry

Connection to psychiatric care and medication management.

04

Substance Use

Support for co-occurring substance use and recovery.

05

Medical

Physical health cared for alongside mental health.

06

Legal

Help navigating legal issues that affect stability.

07

Financial

Guidance toward financial footing and access to benefits.

08

Transportation

Reliable ways to reach appointments and services.

09

Education & Career

Pathways back to learning, work, and purpose.

10

Recidivism

Breaking cycles of repeated crisis, hospitalization, or incarceration.

Working alongside each person, we assess these ten indicators to build a clear picture of their goals and progress. We use that insight to help individuals make their own informed decisions on the path toward stability. Our role is to provide the mechanism and support that make those decisions possible.
